At Kimberley Christian School, we strive to make the enrolment process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Whether you’re enrolling a child for Pre-School, Grade 1, or transferring into higher grades, our step-by-step process ensures each learner is placed in the appropriate level for their educational and developmental needs. Below, you’ll find a clear outline of the steps required to enrol, including necessary tests and fees. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
Learners who turn 6 within the enrolment year are eligible for Grade R. No assessmnets nessecary.
Grade 1 learners must complete a Reading Readiness Test to assess school readiness. This basic test does not require prior reading or writing skills. Test fees apply.
All other learners (Grades 2-12) must take Diagnostic Tests, which take 3-4 school days. These tests help identify any educational gaps. Test fees apply.
Once testing is complete, the Principal will meet with the parents and learner to discuss the results, placement, or referral suggestions.
If accepted, registration fees must be paid to confirm the placement in th eACE Curriculum .For IEB Online the registration fee must first be paid to confirm placement.
NB: All Registration and Test Fees are non-refundable.
