Empower Your Future!

History of A.C.E

Dr. Donald Howard founded Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) in 1970 in Garland, Texas. Since its inception, A.C.E. has expanded to over 142 countries, with national warehouses in the USA, Australia, the U.K., Canada, the Philippines, and South Africa. The Africa/Scandinavia office in Durban has been operational since 1984. Over the past 40 years, AEE has successfully distributed the A.C.E. curriculum to more than 250 private schools and 1500 home schools across African and Scandinavian countries.

A.C.E. is an individualized, self-paced, Biblically-based learning system. Students progress through each PACE (Package of Accelerated Christian Education) at their own pace, covering mathematics, science, language, and social studies. This values-based, individualized approach promotes academic excellence and builds character, providing a solution to the global education crisis. By focusing on individualized learning, A.C.E. helps learners excel and achieve their full potential.

Our Emblem (Crest) & Its Meaning

THE BIBLE, THE CROSS, THE DIAMOND AND SCRIPTURE

The Bible is the Written Word of God, and our school is founded on this Word – the Foundation. In John 1 verse 1 it is written that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Here Jesus Christ is referred to as the Word. In 1 Corinthians 3 verse 11, Paul mentions Jesus Christ as the Foundation. Thus Jesus Christ, Who is The Word of God, must be the Foundation of our lives on which we build.

The Cross is the place, the Cross Roads we must come to, choosing to follow Jesus Christ and forsake all other. Dying to our old carnal ways and being born again into a new life in Jesus Christ as is written in John 3 verse 3 “Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” and 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17 “So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”.

The Diamond represents the potential we have in us, coming to the Cross and surrendering to Christ, becoming new creatures in Him. In God’s eyes we are precious! Kimberley is also known for its diamonds, and the diamond speaks of our city. The diamond also speaks about our new home (the New Jerusalem) in which we will live forever, with Jesus, as described in Revelations 21.

The Scripture at the bottom of the school crest is taken from Matthew 19 verse 14: But Jesus said, “Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” It is our school’s endeavour to introduce our children to Jesus Christ as Saviour and King, knowing His love for them. Winning the world for Christ one child at a time!
